I started doing AI and data science research during my undergraduate years at UP Diliman in 2018, then continued as a research associate at the Philippine Genome Center, co-authoring papers on SARS-CoV-2 genomic surveillance and building data pipelines for national genomic analysis. That foundation in rigorous, reproducible science shaped how I approach engineering problems today.
From there I moved into industry — data science at AIA (Asia-Pacific's largest insurance group), then managing AI initiatives at TDCX AI in Singapore, and now leading enterprise LLM development at Intelligent AI Solutions, a UK-based consultancy. Along the way I've won 4 national and international hackathons, trained corporate and government teams on AI, and consulted for the premier Philippine Science High School System on data-driven student outcomes.
I’m most energized by the friction between 'it works in a notebook' and 'it runs reliably at scale.' My focus is on the invisible infrastructure that makes AI viable: async pipelines, rigorous evaluation frameworks, rate-limiting, and drift detection. I don’t just build models; I build the architectural systems that move AI out of the lab and into the core of how modern enterprises actually work.
